Taco Tour 2017

It's that time of year again! Discover the spicy flavors of the Latino food district on Lake Street, tour 10 authentic restaurants, check out some great local artists, and support the Latino Economic Development Center. In addition to thousands of tacos with many diverse flavors this year's event will include several artists showcasing their music, dance, or other arts and many other surprises you will encounter throughout the tour.

Everyone is welcome to stop by Lake Street and ride a complimentary shuttle between restaurants, or bike/walk between restaurants. True taco tourists will register to receive 2 coupons for a free taco at one of the restaurants. Proceeds go to the Latino Economic Development Center (ledc-mn.org)

Taco Tour on Lake Street is a family-friendly event. You, along with your family and friends, will enjoy a lively tour of east lake street alongside an afternoon of taco tasting! Be a tourist in your own city and discover the foodie wonders that this district has to offer. You will learn about each restaurant, their specialties, their roots in the Latino community, the inspiration for their cuisine and THEIR GREAT PRICES. Several restaurants will feature vegetarian and healthy choices that add to the variety of Mexican cuisine.

We'll provide shuttles up and down Lake Street, but if you don't want to hop on the tour with strangers... Follow your own path by walking or biking the tour with your friends. Whatever your preferred form of transportation, join the Taco Tour on Lake Street.
