Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir has been bringing the joy of the Christmas season to sold out audiences, and Good Tidings! is what the 90 voice choir will bring with their signature sound and endless on-stage energy. Good Noise is thrilled to welcome Canadian Jazz Singer, Maureen Washington. With nine albums to her credit, Washingtons vocal diversity lends itself to superb performances of jazz, blues, swing, funk and R&B.

From early jazz and gospel music mixing it up in Louis Armstrongs New Orleans, the gospel influence on the music of Charles Mingus, Ella Fitzgerald singing Spirituals, Duke Ellingtons Sacred Concerts, Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Centre Orchestras Gospel Celebration and Kirk Whalums Gospel According to Jazz series, the connection of Jazz and Gospel Music has been vibrant and strong since the early days of the 20th Century.
Dont miss the return of jazz trumpeter/vocalist Daniel Lapp to the Good Noise concert stage in this mighty celebration of all things gospel and jazz. And with a continuing focus on promoting young people and music education, Good Noise welcomes ViBE (Holy Cross Regional High School Chamber Choir) as part of this VIP Young Artist Concert series.
