OKC Improv Workshop: Emotional Games (Character Workshop with Chess With Death)
In this workshop we will help you develop characters with emotional connections that lead to stronger games in your scenes while still keeping things simple. Exercises and side coaching that will help you communicate ideas more clearly and get everyone in your scene and the audience on the same page faster. Learn how to recognize patterns in your scenes that can help your games to grow and change, allowing you to play scenes like you never need an edit.
Prerequisites: Level 2 or permission from the instructors
Instructor bio: Chess With Death is an improvised dark comedy performed by Kansas City's Christian Robinson and Juliette Everhart. Their new form, the Two-Person Bear Suit, is an exploration of several interweaving themes.
