Adam Van Wielingen Tribute adamvw.bandcamp.com adamvwmusic.com
Adam Van Wielingen was a singer-songwriter and music production engineer from Calgary, Canada. Throughout his life Adam touched the lives of many with his gentle heart, beautiful presence, and creative spirit Adam lived with great depth of spiritual sensitivity and awareness, clearly evidenced in his lyrics. Adam's legacy lives on through his music, for which we are forever grateful. Adam Van Wielingen's album, The Mountain, was initially released May 12, 2017 in the presence of Adam's family and friends at the National Music Centre in Calgary, Canada. Sadly, Adam passed away three months before the planned album release party, and May 12 evolved into a deeply touching ceremony celebrating Adam's life. To honour Adam and his songs, a group of friends and family joined together to perform material from the Mountain, as well as Adam's back catalogue.
Due to the overwhelming positive response to the May 12 performance, and a desire to connect Adam's album with a larger audience, a public CD release is now planned for Aug 24, 2017 at Festival Hall.

Formed in the early months of 2015, Rosalind started as a collaboration between friends Mike Röckin, Jesse Shire and Amanda Noelle that quickly proved to have substantial chemistry and compatibility.
After several months and an outpouring of positive feedback, Rosalind looked to expand their sound from guitar, banjo, mandolin and three-part harmonies to include bass, violin and drums, utilising each instrument's unique voice to create a blended and full soundscape.
Their songs aim to relate to the spectrum of emotions and experiences our daily lives are rife with, and will leave a lasting impression long after their last note has been played.

Danielle Knibbe danielleknibbe.bandcamp.com/album/some-curious-birds www.danielleknibbe.ca
Combining bittersweet vocals, aching lyrics, and indelible melodies, Danielle Knibbe's songs win, and then all too often, break your heart. Blending folk, roots, and country sensibilities, there's an intimacy and familiarity to her music; her stories may not be about you, but you'll think they are. Backed by upright bass, electric guitar, and three part harmony, their sound has caught the attention of CKUA's David Ward, who labelled Knibbe's album "Some Curious Birds" an Essential Album of 2016. They've also garnered CBC radio play, and slots at 2017's TIny Lights Festival and Sunshine Festival.
