Finding Home by Cecilia Knapp
Cecilia Knapps coming of age story maps the journey of a girl from Brighton to the tenements of city life. Its about a lot of things; growing up, mothers, makeshift dens, mixtapes, accidentally shaving your eyebrows off, one night stands. But its mainly about the suicide of her brother and how a loss like that affects a person.
Directed by Stef ODriscoll (Kate Tempests Hopelessly Devoted) Finding Home is an evocative collaboration of poetry, projections, vocals and instrumentals, including music from world champion beat boxer Bellatrix and Tongue Fu Founder Chris Redmond.
Cecilia speaks directly to your heart with great honesty, spoken word that deftly blends poetic and the theatrical.
Mesmerising. Totally Gripping.
