Art Deco Society Nethercutt Vintage Car Collection Tour & Optional Lunch

Motor out with the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles, for a private tour of the Nethercutt Collection of precious vintage objects on display at San Sylmar. This treasure trove of prize-winning automobiles, mechanical musical instruments and rare collectibles are housed in an opulent recreation of an automotive Grand Salon of the 1920s and '30s. The Nethercutt Collection is the life's work and passion of the late J.B. and Dorothy Nethercutt. The tour will also include a demonstration of the Nethercutt's famous organ!

Those interested in gathering for lunch BEFORE the tour at the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant (tucked away next to the Van Nuys Airport runway) can reserve a spot at the end of their ticket reservation for the museum trip. It is a charming French Chateau complete with ivy covered walls, stone paths, plush gardens and the interior is adorned with relics that pay homage to veteran bomber pilots.

11:00 AM Optional Lunch at 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant at the Van Nuys Airport. Everyone will order off the menu. ADSLA is not coordinating the actual meal.

If you wish to meet us at the Nethercutt Museum, please arrive by 1:15 PM at the facility where the "Collection" is (there is also a museum where no reservation is required down the street). San Sylmar is located at 15200 Bledsoe Street, Sylmar, CA 91342 (818) 367-2251. The Museum Collection is between the 5 and 210 freeways.
