HEART!
Imagine a world without art and music...
In response to the growing number of Atlanta artists without health insurance or little access to affordable healthcare, Evolve! Artists Live, in conjunction with The Creators Gift 137, Inc, and Fulton County's Health Commissioner, Joan Garner, will host HEART! a free health screening & wellness day for the Atlanta artist community.
HEART! is designed to promote health and wellness among artists and musicians. Cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose, ht/wt, BMI, heart risk ratio, and HIV screenings will be offered free to local artists and musicians (18 or older) as a preventative approach to healthcare. Screenings will provide participants a snapshot of their health, and an opportunity to implement diet and lifestyle changes to stay healthy. We will also invite select vendors that can offer free or affordable healthcare resources, holistic health and wellness information, mental & emotional support, and fitness options. Live art, DJ's, cooking demonstrations and a kid zone will also be a part of this day of artistic wellness.
