Concert for Bud Fisher "My Left Foot" Fund
Please help Bud Fisher get back on his feet after the diabetes-related amputation of his left foot. Let's give him a hand with all these expenses during recovery so he'll have more than a leg to stand on! I'll go out on a limb and say if you've been near live music in San Diego, you have benefited from Bud's work as a piano technician.
Musical guests will include Bud Fisher Jazz Combo with Joe Garrison, Bryan Verhoye, Mike Wofford, Holly Hofmann, Kay Etheridge, Jessie Chang, April Fisher, John Evans, Jeff Blanco, Bob Peters and possibly more!! Light reception to follow. Cash or check donations for Bud to allay costs of a prosthesis and related medical care will be gratefully accepted.
Our thanks to PLCPC for generously offering their venue and, of course, their new Hamburg Steinway D the first time this piano has been made available for outside artists. Special thanks to Don Brenneman (Minister of Music) and Bryan Verhoye.
