The name Shin Bet security service strikes fear into the hearts of those that would do harm to Israel's government and leaders. in this film it is a threat to assassinate the Prime Ministera dark shaded reminder of the earlier assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. But what of Israeli society, generally? This film, is unusual in that it not only deals with the theme of good guy versus bad, but also the impact and consequences of the search for the assassin on Israeli society, itself torn by the differences and confrontations of everyday life. Come, follow along with an ever more weary and burdened chief of the service. You do have the benefit of watching the evermore frantic effort from the comfort of your seats, but given the rising tension as time runs out, you are likely to be sitting on the edge of them.
