Creating Characters Using Laban
Identify your most comfortable, habitual ways of moving and then discover the exact opposite, which will be unfamiliar but could help you develop a great character. Laban's Effort Actions cover the range of human movement and are useful in creating colorful characters.
Taught in acting and dance programs across the country and in Europe, Laban movement analysis is an essential tool any performance artist can use. This workshop will also apply Laban to speaking text. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
