Arcadia Moon Festival 2017
Join us for an autumn evening of Chinese music, dance, martial arts and storytelling as we observe the moon rise over the Arboretum on Saturday, September 30, 6-9pm. This traditional Chinese celebration is held when the full moon is at its brightest for the year. Enjoy a performance of the Legend of the Moon Festival by local Chinese theater company Elite Performing group. We will have moon cakes to purchase, calligraphy and feng shui fortune reading. Bring a picnic dinner or grab a bite to eat at a food truck. event is co-hosted by the Arcadia Chinese Association and the Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation.
