TAYLOR SEABERG

Taylor is a communications/digital media specialist and a Twin Cities musician.  Booking manager for her mononymously named band, Seaberg, and a previous marketing and administrative assistant for The Cedar Cultural Center, she has a growing knowledge and connectivity to the music venue world in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. At Hamline University Taylor began her curating career by hosting weekly, Music in the Forum, open mics in the Anderson Student Center at nineteen. This led her to promote her first official show, Blackout, at The Cedar Cultural Center, working with Chadwick Phillips from The Avant Garde. Blackout featured, Nick Jordan, Joe Davis & The Poetic Diaspora, and Destiny Roberts, all well known POC Twin Cities artists specializing in RNB, jazz, and hip hop.

SEABERG

Seaberg is a hip-hop, alt-jazz, and neo-soul band featuring multi-instrumentalist Taylor Seaberg, bassist Justin Halverson, and drummer Jay Weiler. Under their former name of "People Will Dance," Seaberg's in-studio performance of their song "Vibes" was featured in City Pages' Local Frames and the Local Current blog's Friday Five music video roundups.

In late 2016, Seaberg released their first demoed recordings. The name of the EP--'The People Will Dance Tapes'--nods towards the origins of the band while looking toward the future. Songs like 'Fool's Gold' pay homage to the stylings of jazz guitarist George Benson melding social commentary about hookup culture along with breakup blues. Taylor showcases her auto-biographical lyrical abilities on tracks like 'I Don't Know' and 'Run.'

When not performing with the full band, Taylor can be found performing her solo original music under the same name.

DUA SALEH

Dua has been creating art for a long time, even making it onto Button Poetrys YouTube channel, where their poem Pins and Needles has racked up tens of thousands of views. But they just started singing and performing music last fall. I never thought I had a good voice, they say. But when they worked up the confidence to try to record, they reached out to Frey on a mutual friends recommendation and set up a time to experiment. NYASIA ARRADONDO

Nyasia is a multifaceted artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. With her R&B-smooth vocals (The Current) and raw unapologetic writing style, shes described as a pretty darn impressive rising star. (The Scroll) Nyasia has performed all over the Twin Cities, as a solo act and as a background singer, and has even opened for national acts. Shes currently recording her debut project that will be released in 2017.

VIE BOHEME

Vie Boheme was born in Motown, developed in Pittsburgh and refined in Minneapolis. She describes her sound as a fusion of fusions. Live instrumentation with real instruments and her voice are the playground for an eclectic sound with elements of soul and electronica fused in.

She is a former dance artist with TU Dance in St. Paul, Minnesota, a founding member of The August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble and a soul, funk, jazz vocalist and choreographer of her own solo dance work. She is also a Vinyasa yoga instructor teaching in Minneapolis and wherever her music takes her.

Her latest single 'Take Cover' is available for purchase and live streaming on iTunes, Amazon.com, Spotify and SoundCloud.
