Rain City Ramblers
Three young talented men, figuring out music is like rain for the dry soul. It works! Join Daniel, Forrest and Jim as they serenade you with their clean Appalachian Indie/folk music. Originals and fresh takes on the time-worn.
For me, living in Seattle and playing Appalachian music is a way to connect and participate in a community. Thats something that Appalachia models well, and were trying to create that here. ... We all have a huge passion for the music, and we have a passion for presenting it honestly.
Those efforts have been well-received. Within months of forming, Rain City Ramblers had gigs lined up in some of Seattles best rooms. Theyve played The Tractor Tavern, the Nectar Lounge, The Sunset, and just played the esteemed Eugene, Ore., venue Sam Bonds Garage. Beyond that, theres their album Hateful Ways surprising everyone !
Mountain Music Parlor is excited to have them! yes...like rain hitting the dry ground!
