YES Theatre Presents Billy Elliot: The Musical
Winner of 10 Tony Awards and multiple international awards. Set in a northern mining
town during the miners strike of 1984/85, Billy Elliot is the inspirational story of a
young boys fight to make his dream come true. Follow Billys journey from boxing
ring to ballet class where he discovers a passion for dance that unites his family,
inspires his community and changes his life forever. Featuring iconic music by Elton
John, and based on the Oscar nominated film, Billy Elliot will certainly capture the
hearts and minds of our audiences. This will be our largest production to date. 35
actors and 10 musicians will bring this production to life!
