Professional poker coach and player Dani "Ansky" Stern is appearing in a limited engagement at Stage 72 on Manhattan's upper west side. This world renowned poker coach is leading two lessons, an intermediate and an advanced lesson on his strategies and approach to Texas Hold'em.
Malcolm Gladwell, best-selling author and preeminent social scientist, noted it takes 10,000 hours of practice to master any given field. Reduce the learning curve exponentially by attending Ansky's coaching live event.
The intermediate lesson is geared for players who already understand basic concepts, but do not have a firm grasp on optimal strategy. In a game where good plays can be punished and bad plays rewarded, Dani teaches you optimal strategy. He explains the specific variables you need to consider in each hand, so you can win without having the best hand, maximize the value of the pot when having best cards, and recognize the difference.
In the advanced lesson Dani discusses the importance of game theory and how it factors into your decisions. Understand how you should perceive your opponents and how they view you.
