Digging for Roots: Creating Change Through Personal Conversations

St. Joseph's Social Hall
Seattle, WA

About this Workshop

We are living in an extremely divided political landscape; can we find a way to develop alliance with people who hold different political and religious views?  How do we break through stereotypes of ourselves and others?  How do we find common ground so that we can work together for the common good?  This workshop will give you the tools to engage people who think differently from you and find a way to work with them to impact change in our community.
You will learn how to guide one-to-one relational meetings, understand self interest as a way to move people to action, gain a perspective of yourself as public and private person, and begin to craft your story as a way of connecting with others to work for the common good.
