In the sleepy, rural town of Clinton, Ontario, 1959, fourteen-year-old Steven Truscott was sentenced to death for the murder of his 12-year-old classmate Lynne Harper. After a two week trial by jury, the boy was found guilty and sentenced to hang, making him the youngest person to sit on Canada's death row. The riveting and poignant true story is seen through the eyes of a fictional character named Sarah, a fellow classmate of Steven and Lynne's as she deals with her own loss of innocence, her world turned upside down and a personal journey to find truth and justice.
