Apple Seeds presents: Songs for Seeds Winter Concert
On December 16th, 2012 at 11:00am, apple seeds presents songs for seeds winter concert! This highly-interactive music show will get kids, and their adults, singing, dancing and playing along -- featuring songs for seeds original music by Mr. Ray, popular children's tunes, top 40 hits and some winter favorites. All children in attendance will also leave with a songs for seeds CD, and one family will win a free year-long membership to the new apple seeds upper west side location.
Named "Best Music Class 2010 by New York Magazine, songs for seeds is a rockin' music program that gets children newborn to 5 years singing, dancing and playing along with a live, three-piece band. In class each week, kids rock out with children's instruments, as well as real drums, guitars, keyboards and instruments from around the world. Using original tunes written by well-known musician, Mr. Ray, songs for seeds provides a fun, stimulating, interactive experience. We "travel" to a new country every week, create well-known nursery rhymes through visual art, perform magic tricks to highlight numbers and counting, and spin the animal wheel to reinforce animal names and sounds. By mixing our original kids rock 'n' roll with great adult tunes, the band pleases everyone both big & small.
