The Casement Fund Song Series presents Schubert's Winterreise
In its inaugural year, the second concert of the Casement Fund Song Series, will present a new multimedia vision in an intimate setting of Schubert's masterwork, Winterreise, conceived and performed by baritone David Adam Moore (La Scala, Chicago Lyric Opera).  By incorporating video projections created by Moore, and making full use of the performance space, this program aims to present Schubert's Winterreise as a visually rich dramatic monologue that will guide the audience intimately along the protagonist's journey of love and loss in wintertime.

A veteran of such houses as La Scala and the Chicago Lyric Opera, David Adam Moore will present his multimedia vision for this monumental work, joined ably by the sensitive playing of pianist Earl Buys. Moore's performances have been described in the international press as "marvelously intense" (The Times - London) "beautifully sung, skillfully acted, and highly athletic" (Baltimore Sun), "combining power and sensitivity" (Opera magazine), "suave, firmly sung, with deadpan humor and an ear for embellishment" (The New York Times), "virile" (L.A. Times) "wonderfully brash" (The Wall Street Journal), and "irresistible" (Opera News).
