Herstory in Focus
The Downtown Eastside Women's Centre (DEWC) is proud to present our second annual Herstory in Focus, an exciting fundraising event spotlighting the power of community and celebrating the resilience of women in the Downtown Eastside. The night will include a fashion show hosted by women of the centre, special performances, and a silent auction. Join us and be part of magnifying women's stories and voices!
DEWC provides safe, women-only space, basic necessities and support services, and refuge from conditions of poverty and violence to up to 500 women every day in the Downtown Eastside. We are facing unprecedented challenges as the demand for services in the Downtown Eastside continues to grow, and every avenue of support makes a difference for the women of our community.
