Shawano Folk Music Festival
The Shawano Folk Music Festival is a family weekend with an eclectic mix of music, dance and activities. Fine artists and crafters line the park paths, and there is a full program for children.
Friday and Saturday evening concerts are held inside air-conditioned Mielke Arts Center, with 4 performers each night. Saturday and Sunday daytime programs include music, dance, children's programs, craft demos, sing-alongs, and instruction on 4 outdoor stages in Shawano's Mielke Park. Local vendors offer an array of good food, and the Open Stage invites budding musicians a chance to perform for an appreciative audience.
Our 2017 performers include Tom Pease, Stanton West (formerly Eddie Danger), Anne Hills, Michael Smith, Green Bay Pickers, Indigie Femme, Jack Williams, Frogwater and more.
It's a family weekend, and it goes on rain or shine. Join us for an evening, a day, or the entire weekend. The festival is sponsored by the Shawano County Arts Council, and is produced entirely by volunteers.
Come sing, dance and play with us!
