Lydia Loveless House Concert
Roots Hoot House Concerts celebrates its 11th anniversary of bringing live music in the comfort of a home to the South County section of Rhode Island with an appearance by Bloodshot Records recording artist LYDIA LOVELESS. A fast rising star on the Bloodshot roster, Loveless's debut album for the label titled Indestructible Machine combines heady doses of punk rock energy and candor with the country classicism. Her true-to-life testimonials hit and hit hard. Be it whiskey, men, god or alienation, Lydia takes them all on; they may kick, but she kicks back and, even though she stands 5 tall, when the bar stools start flying, we want her on our side. We hear this may be Lydia and band's first house concert and if that is truly the case, we're pretty darn honored. We just hope the room can contain it all. It is a BYOB/potluck show which means terrific food to go with an evening of great music.
