American Voices: Music of American Composers Past and Present
The West Village Chorale is perhaps most at home performing the music of American composers, and this program offers a beautiful and diverse palettefrom early American music and traditional spirituals to classics by Barber, Bernstein, Copland, Thompson and Whitacre.  Also included are the premiere of a new commission WVC "Good-Night" by Thomas Jefferson Peters, and choral gems by Abbie Bettinis and Morton Lauridsen.
