At The Table: Jr. Chef Jordan - All About Kraut!
Join us for a hands-on, fun-filled, cabbage-intensive class to learn the easiest way to make sauerkraut.
Preserving cabbage as kraut is a great way to eat local produce through the cold, gray winter months, plus it's a fun and delicious kitchen activity. You'll go home with your own jar of hand-packed kraut-to-be and some tasty kitchen knowledge to share with your friends!
Bio: Jordan is a cook, enthusiastic eater, and produce lover, excited to be sharing his passion for food.
He believes strongly in food as a central part of community. You can find his home-cooking on Josephine.com. When he's not cooking, eating, or thinking about doing one or the other, you can find him singing with his band at some bar you've never heard of.
