How to Dress Deco for the Avalon Ball Tips From the Experts for Everyone
Art Deco Society Members are invited to join the new Fashion Committee of the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles for an insightful and inspiring afternoon in anticipation of the annual Avalon Ball - which is coming up fast on May 20th. Whether you are a first timer, or a regular, we will provide some useful tips and advice on how to look your most deco for the big event!
Marc Chevalier, a vintage menswear expert, and Nicole Loretta, owner of the vintage shop Paper Moon Vintage, will both show examples of well put together ensembles on live models - with tips on how to accessorize. We will include both authentic vintage and vintage-inspired items and ideas, can tell you where to go for tailoring, dry-cleaning, and answer any questions.
Other vintage stylists will be on hand to help you put together a whole outfit or just complete one you already have.
15% off all vintage for all attendees. Spirited refreshments, snacks and treats will be there for the taking as well! Reservations required for this workshop event so as not to exceed capacity.
