Mozart Requiem
In the last of this season's Quire & Place concerts, we mourn all who have lost their lives to violence, on the streets and in our schools. Motet Choir and the Rockefeller Chapel Choir and Orchestra present Mozart's beloved Requiem, using the edition by Franz Beyer, with selected music of mourning by Henry Purcell, Sven-David Sandström, Michael Horvit, Frank Martin, Herbert Howells, and recent music of composer Ted Hearne, which speaks to the violence in our own neighborhoods.
