Eurydice at the Parodos Festival
Eurydice, written by Sarah Ruhl, is a modern theatrical adaptation of the ancient Greek tragedy of Orpheus and Eurydice. Traditionally told from the perspective of Orpheus, this absurdist re-imaging highlights Eurydice, and chooses to tell the tale from her eyes. It is an exploration of Eurydice's life and her after-life. Eurydice analyzes all the forms love and loss can take in a witty, poetic, and poignant manner.
