Kettle Falls Camp & Jam
Kettle Falls Camp & Jam is an acoustic music concert that takes place Aug 18-20 2017, in Happy Dell Park, Kettle Falls Washington. Touring Bluegrass bands and regional acts perform on the stage in the park including: Circa Blue (W. Virginia), North Country (Bellingham), Michelle Rivers (Montana), Brown's Mountain Boys, Chipped & Broken, Sara Brown/Finessa Fan and many others.
Another atraction is the musicians and music lovers from around the Northwest and Canada that arrive and set up camp for three days of singing and picking their instruments. Other activities for festival goers include: Band Scramble, Open Mic, Contra Dance, Jamming, Raffle, etc. A variety of food and craft vendors will be set up as well. The general public is invited to take in the main stage acts as well as walk freely and watch or participate in the camp jams.
Tri-County Music 501(c)(3) is the host of the Camp & Jam and is also committed to offering the gift of music with workshops in musical instruments, voice, storytelling and composition, etc. The workshops are free and no ticket is required to participate. Workshops & registration will be at the Kettle Falls Information Center (Chamber of Commerce).
Inside the Camp & Jam grounds will be a full weekend of great music
Surrounded by vast wilderness in Northeast Washington, Kettle Falls sits on Lake Roosevelt and includes a marina as well as a huge variety of outdoor activities including water-sports, sightseeing, hiking, biking, birding, fishing, foraging plus much more! There are a number of motels and bed & breakfasts in the area as well as restaurants, grocery stores and even a craft brewery all just blocks from the festival grounds.
