Wildflower Identifcation - Botany for Foragers 16th July
Sepals, petals, hairy bracts and carpels! If you ever wanted to look a bit closer into the detail of plants and learn how to accurately identify them, join us on this one day course. We'll look at key features which help identify plants and the combination of 'characters' which group them together, making it quick and easy to tell them apart with confidence. Along the way we'll cover some edible and medicinal plants as well as the poisonous ones to be aware of. No experience required.
We aim to make our events participatory, enjoyable and inclusive, and will do our best to cater to individual needs & learning styles - please get in touch if you have any concerns.
Cost is offered on a sliding scale of £30-£60 for the day
As a co-op we value making our workshops as accessible as possible, but we have to balance this with earning a living income, so please pay the full price if you can afford it. We really appreciate your continuing support which enables us to carry out our community work.
