Award-Winning Gemma Wilcox remounts her magical and mesmerizing hit show from Boulder Fringe 2016.
The Wallaby Way is a passionate, intimate, and emotionally-charged show that takes the audience on Wilcoxs most recent journey to a remote, rugged island off the coast of Tasmania, Australia. Along the way it explores her last relationship, her maternal lineage, and what fleeing the North American distractions resulted for her. All this culminates in one of Wilcox's riskiest performances and is an exciting quantum leap from her usual performance style of a bare stage and 20 characters. This time Wilcox delves into a more personal, revealing and vulnerable delivery with the guiding force support of a mysterious marsupial, magical puppets, a mesmerizing mask, a labyrinth, and an enormous amount of red yarn, as she ventures through thick and thin to find clarity, closure, and peace with the tragedy that has clouded her mind and life.

ABOUT 'BURNING MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD':

David Ortolano (Founder of the Boulder Fringe Festival and Band of Toughs: theatre collaboratory) will be premiering his brand new show Burning Man Who Sold The World.
Burning Man Who Sold the World is a dark comedic play set in a post truth era of political correctness and the actual cost of freedom. While the content is eerily similar to the current political debacle in North America, the piece was crafted and shaped as a work of fiction with an epic journey through the stars and fictional characters that bear a striking resemblance to our own world. A solo play, based on a TRUE story, mostly comedic and a sometimes very dark look into what makes contemporary American politics tick.
