Mardi Gras Madness
The 2013 Derby Scrimmage Style Season Opener "Mardi Gras Madness" celebrates our 1st season at Detroit Roller Wheels in Detroit, Michigan! The best roller derby skaters from Michigan and the surrounding states will meet here on the flat track for some amazing derby fun!
Detroit Roller Wheels is located at 16611 Schoolcraft Street, Detroit, Michigan 48227. On bout days, doors open at 3:00p.m. and bouts begin at 4:00p.m.
A portion of the bout proceeds go to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit, a non-profit organization that provides a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children.
Half-time show will be performed by the renowned Reggie Gunn His performance alone will be worth the trip! We will also be featuring a mini-scrimmage with our youth roller derby team, Team Peace.
