Qupe and Verdad Wineries and Full of Life Flatbread present A Plastic Ocean
On Wednesday, April 26th, Full of Life Flatbread will be presenting a very special screening of 'A Plastic Ocean.'
Plastic is a substance the Earth can not digest.
When I founded Full of Life Flatbread in 2003 I did so in part because of my Los Alamos restaurant's proximity to local farms, ranches, artisan food producers, and our beautiful run of the Pacific Ocean.
The food sheds I chose to sink my life and career in to seemed, naively to me, to be so pristine.
There is so much I have learned. There have been so many great teachers and people who's inspirations have enabled Full of Life Flatbread to become a community hub for food and social events such as this.
Come join us with our dear friends and inspirations Bob and Louisa Lindquist and Dianna Cohen on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26th at 6pm in Los Alamos for an evening of community, good food, drink, a very special screening of 'A Plastic Ocean,' and a community discussion in the Flatbread dining room.
Price: $50 includes a specially prepared dinner, wine, and a gift to the Plastic Pollution Coalition.
We are in a time of governing bodies who question science, cast doubt on fact and instill insecurity. This is but a small act to increase knowledge because knowledge is more powerful that fear and bluster.
