You read that right, Phil Anselmo's (Pantera) side-project band is going to be playing at DIAMONDZ IN JEROME!!

This is one of the biggest metal shows we've ever brought to Southern Idaho!! This will be the tour's only Idaho stop!

THIS SHOW WILL SELL OUT. TICKETS GO ON-SALE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 7TH AT 10AM MDT.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 day of show, and may be purchased online at JeromeTickets.com or from any opening band member.

There are also a VERY SMALL number of Reserved tickets available for $35. They get you a reserved seat so you don't need to be at the front of the line to be able to sit (like you'll be sitting anyway, lol).

To attend, you must be 15+ with a parent or guardian, or 18+ otherwise. Full bar available to those 21+ with valid ID. Doors are at 7:00pm, show starts at 7:30pm.

Contemplating getting a room, but just not quite sure? Mention that you are going to this show when you book a room at the Red Lion Jerome (208-324-6400) and get a double room for $55 + tax!

--- SUPERJOINT ---
Superjoint Ritual was formed by Phil Anselmo, Jimmy Bower, and Joe Fazzio in the early 1990's. The New Orleans Sludge/Thrash group was later to be joined by Hank Williams III and Kevin Bond. Their sound can be heard as a crossover between hardcore punk and Pantera. Black metal influences can also be heard in trace amounts on their albums. The band name, Superjoint Ritual, comes from lyrics found in the Darkthrone song, "The Pagan Winter".
Bands like Venom, Celtic Frost, Slayer, and Voivod have been noted as major influences.

Superjoint Ritual eventually received exposure on programs on television networks such as MTV2's, Headbanger's Ball, and Fuse TV's, Uranium. During the bands active years, Bower stated that Phil Anselmo wrote between 70-85% of the lyrics.

However, their time in the spotlight was short lived. An argument between Anselmo and Fazzio led to the band's disband in early 2005, which was confirmed by Hank Williams III and Jimmy Bower.

BUT NOW THEY'RE BACK.

--- Battlecross ---
Thrash has proven an un-killable genre. Resistant to trends and fads it has remained the preserve of true metal fans worldwide, and in the hands of Battlecross it has been pushed to the next level. Disinterested in simply recycling the 'classic' thrash sound, the Canton, MI quintet have consistently brought new fire, energy, and dynamics to their metallic assault, and with Rise To Power they raise the stakes once more. Building on the blistering sounds of sophomore release War Of Will (2013), it is a darker, more aggressive and tighter record, catchy without pandering, packed with face-melting solos and with every track they push their hunger to empower the masses to the forefront.

"We're really proud of War Of Will, and we got to play those songs all over the world, which was an amazing experience. Going into this record we had more freedom in the sense that we were able to say well, people like what we write, so let's just write what we like," states bassist Don Slater. "We never really want to do the same thing twice. We want to play the riffs that we want to hear, and we just want to keep building on our experience and raising the bar," adds guitarist Tony Asta. "No one is handing us anything. We've always been about putting the work in, and we couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved with Rise To Power."

--- Child Bite ---
Child Bite is an American post-punk/art rock band formed in 2005 in Detroit, Michigan, currently signed with Joyful Noise Recordings.

Child Bite's sound consists of atonal guitar melodies, distorted bass and organ, frequent rhythmic shifts, and frenzied, howling vocals. Earlier recorded material often included additional instruments such as saxophone and violin. Their lyrical content is abstract and metaphorical, often dealing with topics such as fear, paranoia, and despair. Their sound has been described as "enormous and predatory, from the baleful rhythm section to Shawn Knights [frightening vocals]."[2] They are self-described and acknowledged by authorities in the genre as having a "horrorshow/slasher-flick" flair, which descriptors apply to their records, their album art and their music videos.
