The simplicity of the word belies the complexity of its many forms. We explore the strength of love with Pinkham's Wedding Cantata, the mystery of love with Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs, and the passion of love with Herbolsheimer's Mirrors of Love. The lighter side of love shows itself in works by Britten and Edlund. Draping beauty and delicacy over all are pieces by Whitacre, Durufle, Lauridsen, and Debussy.   Have a question about this event?
