4-H Working Ranch Horse: Horsemanship #1 Saturday May 13th 2017 10am-6pm Spokane County Fair Grounds Entries due May 5th
The 4-H Working Ranch Horse Program has been to develop to empower youth to utilize their passion for horses to better understand animal science, the cattle industry and 4-H positive youth development. Youth are engaged in hands on learning, leadership and enjoying the ranch lifestyle. Activities that will happen that day: Horsemanship Ranch Roping, Animal Science Low Stress Sorting And much more!!!
How to make your experience a success: 1. All participants must be on time. 2. All horses 4-H certified and safe. 3. All tack must be ranch horse appropriate: a. Rope halter and long lead rope. b. Helmet, long pants/riding boots with heel. Dress in layers c. Rope/lariat: Suggestions North 40 Poly 9.0. Not required. d. Breast collar & Back cinch (strongly recommended)
Only $20.00 per youth. Family Discount $15 per youth for 3 or more.
