#SheShoots: Women roundtable discussion at Le Lincoln cinema
It marks almost 100 years since Alice-Guy Blache, revered as the first female film director, wrapped up the last of her 400 films in 1920. The 12th edition of ÉCU- European independent film festival certainly signals the vast progress the film industry has made since then. With the overwhelming number of female filmmakers from a variety of nationalities nominated across each category (14) an opportunity has been presented to host a roundtable discussion and celebrate the presence of women in the film industry.
