Walk Through Permaculture Farm Design with Mark Shepard
Mark Shepard will be coming to Yet to be Named Community Farm to walk through the Permaculture site design process.
The tentative schedule is: 10 am: Registration 10:30 am: Introduction to the Farm, Orientation, and Reading the Land through the Lens of Restoration Agriculture 11:30 am: Potluck Lunch (gluten-free) 12:30 pm: Site walk with Permaculture Design Discussions 3:30 - 4 pm: Wrap up
The majority of this event will be held outdoors. Please dress for the weather.

------------------------ Mark Shepard is the CEO of Forest Agriculture Enterprises LLC and founder of Restoration Agriculture Development Inc. and Restoration Agriculture International Inc. He runs New Forest Farm, the 106-acre perennial agricultural savanna considered by many to be one of the most ambitious sustainable agriculture projects in the United States. ------------------------ Yet to be Named Community Farm is located just outside Madison, WI. We hope to connect eaters to their food by growing perennials, raising livestock, and welcoming our community to join us.
