Adventist Community Services of Greater Washington's 1st Annual H.O.P.E Benefit Concert
Proceeds from the H.O.P.E ( Help Our People Excel) Concert will benefit Adventist Community Services of Greater Washington's Learning Center. ACSGW is a non-profit organization that aids people in need in the Silver Spring/Takoma Park, Maryland community.

Programs and services offered at ACSGW include:emergency assistance with food and clothing, case management,workforce development classes, health and wellness programs and more.

Artist expected to perform include:

David Olney, an American folk singer/songwriter, who has released more than 20 albums over four decades, including six live recordings. His music has been prominently featured in ABC-TVs Nashville and his stellar songs have been recorded by Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Del McCoury, Tim OBrien and Steve Young, among many others.

Esther Haynes, an early jazz and American roots singer and rhythm guitarist based in the Washington, DC area.Her third album, Moon Country (2013), featuring Keith Grimes on guitar and other noted DC-area musicians, She has also received 12 Wammie awards for big band/swing and jazz vocals.

Tom Prasada-Rao, a folk singer, born in Ethiopia of Indian parents and raised in Washington DC., has received over a dozen Wammies as well for Best Male Vocalist/Instrumentalist in the Folk Category, as well as for Songwriter of the Year. Tom Prasada-Rao is a musician's musician - an unassuming presence on the folk scene since the early nineties. His voice belies his musicianship and his extraordinary songs.
