Brian Sowards, Michael Ronstadt, Katie Barbato at The Music School of Delaware
Gable Music Ventures is proud to present this unique show at The Music School of Delaware. Brian Sowards and Michael Ronstadt; Delaware's Indie EP Release Party. Singer songwriter Katie Barbato will be opening the show. Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8:00. There will be a bar for those with proper ID, a portion of sales benefits the Music School of Delaware.

Brian Sowards began his musical career at the age of five, studying Suzuki violin at the Music School of Delaware. He has gone on to play concerts in front of millions as a member of the World Youth Orchestra, and thousands as a folk rock violinist for a wide variety of indie artists. Recently he recorded with Top 40 band Atomic Tom on their album "The Moment." Brian is a multi-instrumentalist, performing on piano, guitar, violin/fiddle and voice. His compositions have been compared to Rufus Wainwright, Elton John and the Cure.

Michael G. Ronstadt has been offering his music to audiences on cello, guitar and voice for seventeen years and is conversant with a wide range of styles. He has performed throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico with artists like David Bromberg, Linda Ronstadt, and Muriel Anderson. In addition to solo performances, Michael currently tours with his group Ronstadt Generations and regularly appears with Craig Bickhardt, Lisa Biales, and David Trotta

Katie has shared the stage with Matt Duke, Jackie Greene, Deb Talan and Steve Tannen, Citizen Cope with Meshell Ndegeocello, Sharon Little, and Melissa Ferrick. She has performed at notable venues and festivals such as Bethlehem Musikfest, TurksHead Music Festival, Block Island Music Festival, Club Passim, The House of Blues, Tin Angel, World Cafe Live, Pianos, The Bitter End, and The Rockwood Music Hall. Barbato was one of four winners of the "Revolution" contest held by The Philadelphia Songwriter's Project in 2011. She has done commercial work for Clear Channel, and has been featured on Radio 104.5 FM, WXPN 88.5FM, Boston's WERS and the NBC 10! Show.
