Jr. Derby Tues/Sat package - Advanced skills and scrimmage.
Gotham Girls' coaches will cover advanced skating and derby skills, such as backwards skating, agility and footwork, and advanced jamming and blocking skills. This class is for girls who have mastered basic skills and are cleared for contact and scrimmaging. You must have your own skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet, and mouthguard. In addition all skaters must purchase a $35 USARS membership. Basic skating and derby skills are required (basic skating form including crossovers, safe falls, starts, stops, comfortability with light contact).
Junior derby Tuesday/Saturday sessions consist of 3 weeks of classes on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons at our "Crashpad". You can sign-up here for the full course - the cost for the 3 week package is $125 and allows you to the option of also coming to Thursday's 5-7pm Basic/Intermediate skills class as well.
Please also note that we reserve the right to cancel this class with one week of notice in the case of insufficient interest. In the event of cancellation, skaters will be issued a refund.
**Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE**
The times and dates for this class are:
Tuesdays 5-7pm December 4, December 11, December 18
Saturdays 3-5pm December 8, December 15, December 22
AND
Option to drop-in on Thursday classes during 3 week session at no additional cost. (May attend Thurs Dec 6, Dec 13, and Dec 20).
