Join us on Thursday November 8th for our annual seasonal Food & Beer Pairing Dinner celebrating Autumn. Both the food and ales being served have Belgian inspiration - with American twists. Here's what we'll be serving:|
The Bruery Autumn Maple
Course One: Charcuterie board
Rabbit pate, artisanal cheeses, Belgian trippe sausage & marcona almond cherry chutney
Paired with: Brewery Ommegang Scythe and Sickle
Course Two: Moules Frites
Honey mussels steeped in a seasonally herbed saffron broth with truffle fries and parmesan crisp.
Paired with: Trio of Saison Du Buff (2012 versions from Stone Brewing Co., Dogfish Head Brewery & Victory Brewing Co.)
Course Three: Pheasant Waterzooi
Flemish stew of lemon herb marinated pheasant in a Grand Marnier spiked broth. Served with roasted vegetable, purple potato and goat cheddar toast.
Paired with: Great Divide Orabelle Tripel
Intermezzo: Hop Tea and Stroopwafel
Course Four: Speculoos Trifle
A Belgian spiced cookie doused with Leopold's Blackberry Whiskey then layered with huckleberry jam, candied walnuts, and chipped Belgian chocolate cream.
Paired with: Crabtree Manage a Trois
