Langley Community Chorus Presents Happy Birthd'eh Canada!!
A Choral Celebration of Canada's 150th Birthday!
Canada was born in 1867 when the Fathers of Confederation had a vision of building a powerful, united, wealthy and free country that spanned a continent. 150 years later we raise our voices to celebrate being part of this great success story and to give thanks for our wonderful country.
Come join our party! Sing, cheer, dance in the aisles or simply listen to a repertoire of Canadian songs and music, the inspired choices of our award-winning director, Anita Comba. We will be accompanied by the multi-talented Donna Phillips on piano and for this extra-special celebration, we are excited to announce that we will be joined by a band of musicians, starring Evan Gratham on double bass, Gary Mussatto on drums and Karina Slupski on violin.
This is going to be fun!!
Acknowledgement of grants received. This initiative is made possible by the Community Fund for Canada's 150th, a collaboration between the Government of Canada and extraordinary leaders from coast to coast to coast, alongside contributions from the Township of Langley.
