He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother - Founders' Day Celebration & Musical Tribute to Donny Hathaway
Alpha Phi Alpha (ΑΦΑ) is the first Black, Inter-Collegiate Greek-Lettered fraternity. It was founded on December 4, 1906 at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

The visionary founders, known as the "Jewels" of the Fraternity, are Henry Arthur Callis, Charles Henry Chapman, Eugene Kinckle Jones, George Biddle Kelley, Nathaniel Allison Murray, Robert Harold Ogle, and Vertner Woodson Tandy.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities. Its aims are "manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind," and its motto is First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All.  

The objectives of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. are to stimulate the ambition of its members; to prepare them for the greatest usefulness in the cause of humanity, freedom, and dignity of the individual; to encourage the highest and noblest form of manhood; and to aid downtrodden humanity in its efforts to achieve higher social, economic, and intellectual status."

Bro. Donny Edward Hathaway (October 1, 1945  January 13, 1979) was an American soul singer-songwriter and musician. He studied music on a fine arts scholarship at Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he became a member of  Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity via Beta Chapter in 1965.

Johnston, III (Epsilon Nu Lambda Chapter), Brother Greg Shotwell, Jr ( Eta Zeta Chapter),Brother Robert Taylor, Jr.(Pi Nu Chapter/ Omicron Lambda Alpha Chapter), Brother Joshua "Showtime" Williams ( Iota Delta Chapter) and Mr. Avery Pearsall (Son of Brother Carl Pearsall)

Special Guest Star Appearance by Classical / Gospel / R&B, Jazz, & Broadway artist; Brother Kenneth Alston, Jr.
