Sine Nomine presents "Awakenings"
Sine Nomine's spring concert welcomes spring, sees light after a long winter. The first half of our program contemplates the possibilities of a budding new year - a day of wrath, or an unclouded day in paradise... and culminates in revisiting our original commission, "All I Want Is a Truck" from the perspective of the morning after the longest night. This half ends with Joseph Martin's thrilling "The Awakening." The second half of the concert is a lighter program, celebrating all that is beautiful on a clear blue morning - music from Madonna, Dolly Parton, and Carly Simon bring on the spring.
