Join Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now!, for a benefit for Denver Open Media and KFFR 88.3 FM, community radio in Winter Park, two of Colorado's dynamic non-profit media organizations.

Goodman will deliver a keynote address followed by a book signing of the paperback edition
her latest New York Times bestseller, Democracy Now!: 20 Years Covering the Movements Changing America. She wrote the book with her brother, journalist David Goodman, and Democracy Now! colleague Denis Moynihan, a Denver resident and founder of KFFR.


The talk will be held at Denver's historic
Su Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center

Doors open at 7:00 PM

Tickets:  
$25 General Admission
$100 VIP ticket includes reception with Amy Goodman (6:30-7:30 pm), a copy of her new paperback, Democracy Now!: 20 Years Covering the Movements Changing America, and preferred seating at the talk . This reception will be held a very short distance from Su Teatro, address given with ticket purchase confirmation.

Book signing, after party (free admission) next door at Denver Open Media, 700 Kalamath St, enter on 7th Ave between Santa Fe and Kalamath  just around the corner from Su Teatro!
The after party will include performances by Denver musical artists 2MX2 and Lolita.

This event is being held during the First Friday Art Walk in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe http://www.artdistrictonsantafe.com/ Parking is very limited on First Friday, so consider public transportation. RTDs #1 bus stops at  the nearest corner, and the Osage & 10th Ave light rail stop is 0.7 miles distant, about a 10-minute walk.
