DJ Rosie Rodriguez is one of Sonoma County's well known DJ. She is Celebrating Her 40th Year of being a DJ in Sonoma County!!
DJ Rosie Rodriguez started her career at the young age of 20 at the Music Box in Santa Rosa. A lover of music and dance she was a Hit!! Her business is one base on your referrals. She has perform at hundreds of Weddings, AA NA, Schools, Anniversaries. You name it she's been there with her Magic to move and groove everyone!
Dj Rosie Rodriguez celebrates and dedicates this party to all! Partnered with Arlene Francis Center, We all win! The proceeds help our Sisters, our Mothers, our children at The Living Room, Santa Rosa, a shelter for Women and their Children.
The Living Room was started by Church of the Incarnation members who noticed that homeless women were on the streets after overnight shelters closed, she said. It now offers a safe, sheltered place, along with classes and support services for women and a mother and child parenting program in a converted garage.
Breakfast is served to about 55 people a day, followed by lunch for about 70 women and children.
The Living Room, which operates on an annual budget of about $400,000, receives less than 15 percent of its funding from government sources, Parkinson said. The rest comes from individual donations, foundation grants and a lot of fundraising, she said.
