Verse and Vision is a festival of poetry, showcasing and promoting the use of poetry in communities of faith. It includes a Friday evening concert of music and poetry at Western Presbyterian Church, and Saturday poetry readings and discussions, workshops on reading and writing poetry, and poetry-infused worship at the Church of the Pilgrims. Special guest poets E. Ethelbert Miller and Tania Runyan will be joined by other area poets and worship leaders in giving readings and leading workshops.

Workshop topics include Writing Poetry to a Deeper Faith, Praying with Poetry, Creating Songs for Worship, Zen Poems and Choral Recitation, and Praying the Psalms. Lunch is included.
