Education Event- Transracial Adoption by Adoptive Friends & Families of Greater Seattle
Adoptive Friends and Families of Greater Seattle (AFFGS) invites you and your family to join us for an Education Event on Transracial Adoption and the Lived Experiences of Adult Adoptees.
AFFGS has coordinated a wonderful panel of adult transracial adoptees. Each panelist was adopted and grew up in a family with one or more parents of a different race/ethnicity (so each adoptee was in a "transracial" family). Childcare is provided for up to 20 children, ages 1-10 for small fee. The panel is moderated, and the panelists will also answer questions from the audience. Please come and learn!

FREE for AFFGS Members; $20 for Non-Members. Teens and pre-teens are welcome in the audience.
SUPERVISED CHILDCARE is available for children ages 1-10. Space is limited to 20 children. $10 for 1 child, $15 for 2 children, $25 for 3 children; $30 for 4 children.
About AFFGS: We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit group supporting all types of adoptive families, including families formed through domestic adoptions, agency adoptions, independent adoptions, international adoptions and foster or kinship adoptions.
