The Young Professional Advisory Board of Little Brothers -Friends of the Elderly invites you to join us for a night of comedy at our annual engAge Fundraiser.
This year we will be featuring incredibly talented stand up and improv by some of Chicago's finest comedians; Seth Davis, Sarah Manning and The New 40. To kick the night off we'll have a live DJ and silent auction followed by the night's performances.
This event welcomes everyone 21 and over to enjoy the evening.
All proceeds from the evening will go to benefit Chicago's isolated senior population.
Engage will be held at Chicago Theater Works 1113 W Belmont Ave
Doors open at 6:30pm
Show begins at 8pm
Your ticket includes an open wine and beer bar, hors d'oeuvres, music and comedy, and incredible silent auction packages.
Free parking is available two blocks north of the Theater at 3300 N Seminary and the theater is a short sprint from the Belmont stop of the Red/Brown/Purple lines. Thank you for your generous contribution to Chicago's senior population!
Here's a quick snapshot of how your contributions serve the community:
$10 provides a warm meal, fresh flowers, and a home visit to one bed bound senior.
$25 provides five bags of fresh foods to seniors who otherwise may not have access to nutritional meals.
$40 supports 5 nursing home visits by friendly volunteers bringing an elder flowers and treats.
$100 supports 10 rides to/from the party for elders in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
$250 provides a table of 8 with a three-course meal, flowers, entertainment, & friendly transportation by a volunteer.
