"An Ocean Garden: The Secret Life of Seaweed"
As part of the Living Oceans exhibit join one of our featured artists, Josie Iselin, in a presentation based on her book "An Ocean Garden: The Secret Life of Seaweed"
In her presentation the author, artist and avid beachcomber Josie Iselin reveals the unexpected diversity and beauty of seaweed. Iselin's vibrant portraits of ocean flora reveal the exquisite color and extraordinary forms of more than 200 specimens gathered from tidal pools along the California and Maine coasts. Her engaging conversation blends personal observation and philosophical musings with scientific fact.
"An Ocean Garden: The Secret Life of Seaweed" will also be available for purchase.
Light refreshments will be served and the galleries will be open to all guests.
